About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas is soliciting bids for a Gate Mech 3597 Motor under Purchase Order 2098211. This is a goods procurement requiring vendors to supply a specific mechanical motor component for DART operations. The procurement was posted on March 5, 2026, with a bid due date of March 13, 2026, providing an eight-day submission window. Prospective bidders are required to register with the Bonfire procurement platform and complete the "Prepare Your Submission" process to access detailed project specifications and the in-browser bidding table. All bids must be submitted with FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the quoted price, and vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. The Authority emphasizes that timely delivery is essential to the contract, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules and rates may result in order rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org within 30 days of order or invoice receipt, whichever is later, and must include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The procurement documents provided do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, incumbent vendor information, or specific award value ranges. The materials do not indicate restrictions on the types of organizations eligible to respond or identify any existing contractors currently supplying similar components to DART. No reference is made to required integration with existing infrastructure or technology systems. The complete terms and conditions, detailed specifications, and any other evaluation criteria are accessible exclusively through the Bonfire registration and bidding platform, which bidders must access to obtain comprehensive procurement details and submit their responses by the March 13, 2026 deadline.
