After reviewing submissions, preliminary results will be publicly announced, including participating suppliers and evaluation outcomes.
The solicitation does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types, nor does it list incumbent vendors or current contractors. While no specific budget range is provided, the detailed equipment specifications suggest a substantial capital investment for specialized golf course maintenance equipment. The procurement is specifically located in Brooks County, Georgia, with Georgia Southern University as the primary contracting entity. The eRFQ process allows for potential multiple award scenarios, indicating flexibility in supplier selection. The comprehensive equipment requirements suggest a preference for vendors with specialized knowledge in golf course maintenance equipment, particularly those familiar with high-end turf management technologies. The procurement follows standard state purchasing protocols, with a transparent evaluation process that includes public announcement of results and potential for contract exceptions.
