About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for rubber gaskets, solicited through a competitive bidding process that requires vendor registration on the Bonfire platform. The contract, identified by solicitation number 2097391, is specifically located within Dallas County, Texas, with proposals due on January 14, 2026. Vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs integrated into the overall pricing structure. The procurement emphasizes critical delivery performance, with explicit notice that failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection and potential default termination. Key submission requirements include providing detailed invoices containing purchase order number, item descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, which must be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org.

The solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements based on the available documentation. Vendors must comply with several important certifications, including verification that they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts and confirmation that neither the vendor nor affiliated entities boycott Israel. DART will apply Net 30 payment terms, with invoices payable 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever occurs later. The organization maintains tax-exempt status for Texas state and local sales and use taxes, with any such taxes included on invoices subject to deduction from payment amounts. While specific award value or budget range is not disclosed in the provided documents, the procurement appears focused on securing rubber gasket supplies for DART's operational requirements, with an emphasis on quality, timely delivery, and strict compliance with specified purchase order terms and conditions.
