About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a gasket component identified as "J-1" Relay Valve (Part Number 2097611). This procurement is a goods purchase requiring vendors to supply the specified gasket with delivery to be made on a FOB Destination basis, with all freight costs included in the quoted price. The procurement was posted on January 21, 2026, with a bid due date of January 28, 2026, providing a seven-day response window for interested vendors. Vendors must access the bidding details and response fields through DART's BONFIRE registration system by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process and locating the in-browser BidTable. All bids must reflect the specified product description and meet DART's delivery requirements, as timely delivery is considered essential to the order, and failure to meet delivery schedules may result in rejection and default termination. Vendors should note that DART's standard payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org, and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes must be included in quoted prices.

The procurement is subject to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which require vendors to comply with equal opportunity requirements, certify non-association with foreign terrorist organizations, and verify non-participation in boycotts against Israel. All sellers are responsible for inspections and testing to verify conformance to specifications and must provide commercial warranties covering merchantable quality and suitability for the intended use. DART retains authority to make changes to orders, terminate for default or convenience, and render final decisions on disputes, with appeals available to the Authority. The procurement documents do not identify any incumbent vendors, set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, or specific budget allocation for this purchase order; instead, the standard DART terms and conditions serve as the foundational contractual framework for this individual purchase order. Vendors are encouraged to review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section to understand all obligations and requirements prior to submitting their bids.
