About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Authority is seeking procurement of a specific gasket, specifically a discharge valve for an air conditioning compressor with a two-bolt configuration, referenced as bid number 2094285. The procurement opportunity was posted on July 26, 2025, with a submission deadline of August 1, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit their proposals through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement is specifically for Dallas County, Texas, and requires vendors to adhere to strict delivery and payment terms. DART mandates FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and emphasizes that timely delivery is critical, with potential rejection or default termination for failure to meet specified delivery rates. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly stated in the provided documentation, vendors must comply with several key provisions. DART requires vendors to certify they are not conducting business with foreign terrorist organizations and include a provision affirming they will not boycott Israel. The authority has established Net 30 payment terms and requires vendors to follow equal opportunity employment practices. The purchase order will be governed by Texas state law, with Dallas County designated as the legal venue for any potential disputes. No specific award value or budget range is provided in the documentation, but vendors should be prepared to provide detailed pricing information consistent with the comprehensive terms and conditions outlined in the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document. Potential bidders should carefully review the full terms, particularly noting the legal and operational guidelines that will govern the procurement process.
