About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a GASKET, CYLINDER, LOW PRESSURE under solicitation number 2097480, with proposals due by January 19, 2026. This procurement is specifically for Dallas County, Texas, and requires potential vendors to complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bidding information. The contract involves the purchase of specific low-pressure gasket and cylinder components, with strict delivery requirements where time and delivery rates are considered essential contract elements. DART mandates that all bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs integrated into the overall price, and explicitly does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, with each invoice containing specific details including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement process requires compliance with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which outline detailed specifications for product quality, delivery expectations, and potential default termination provisions.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement includes several important vendor requirements and certifications. Vendors must certify they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts to Foreign Terrorist Organizations and must confirm they do not boycott Israel. The contract includes equal opportunity employment practice requirements and mandates that sellers provide warranties ensuring products are of merchantable quality and suitable for intended use. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order completion. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with any legal venue situated in Dallas County. Though specific award values are not provided, the procurement suggests a focused, technical purchase of specialized gasket and cylinder components for DART's operational infrastructure. Potential bidders must demonstrate technical capability, compliance with specified terms, and ability to meet rigorous delivery and quality standards set forth in the detailed purchasing documentation.
