About this opportunity

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) is awarding a Best Value Grant to Cape Verdean Women United (CVWU) for the Human Trafficking Impact Cards Community Awareness Campaign, with a Notice of Intent posted September 16, 2026 and due September 25, 2026.

The grant of $15,000 funds campaign coordination, multilingual educational materials, online implementation resources, public awareness promotion, community outreach, and production and distribution of awareness materials supporting a youth-centered human trafficking prevention initiative. CVWU developed the program in partnership with Brockton FC United Youth Soccer and the Plymouth County District Attorney's Human Trafficking Task Force. The core deliverable is Impact Cards designed as collectible sports trading cards to educate youth about human trafficking.

The grant term runs through September 30, 2026, with EOPSS reserving the right to extend the duration and amend the underlying award. EOPSS has determined the award to be fair, reasonable, and in the best interests of both the agency and the Commonwealth.
