Candidates who meet the qualifications will be interviewed and placed on a hiring list, with scouts selected for projects based on their expertise, availability, and other criteria. The initial contract term is from July 25, 2017 to June 30, 2018, with two optional one-year renewals for a maximum term of three years. Location scouts will be paid a daily flat rate of $350 for a work day between 8 and 15 hours, and will be reimbursed for approved administrative and travel costs.

No incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed, and no existing infrastructure or technology requires integration.
