This procurement appears to be seeking a professional with specialized drafting and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for a specific government project or department. The contract was posted on August 3, 2018, with a tight response deadline of August 7, 2018, indicating an urgent staffing need. While specific details about the exact deliverables are limited in the provided information, the opportunity suggests a requirement for technical drafting expertise, likely involving precise design work using CAD software. The short turnaround time between posting and due date implies an expedited procurement process, which may require rapid submission of qualifications and potential immediate start date for the selected candidate.

Based on the available information, no explicit set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations are detailed in the contract opportunity. The brevity of the posted information leaves uncertainty about potential preferences for disadvantaged business enterprises or specific vendor qualifications. Without additional context, it is not possible to confirm incumbent vendors, existing technological infrastructure requirements, or precise award values. The contract appears to be a short-term, specialized technical position within the District of Columbia's government, potentially related to engineering, architectural, or infrastructure design projects.
