This state and local contract opportunity, identified by the unique ID 66c85d47829eb5d869074836, involves the District of Columbia's procurement of library textbooks for fiscal year 2013. The procurement appears to be focused on acquiring textbooks for a specific library system or educational institution within the District, with a specific designation of "WCW" which may indicate a particular school, campus, or library branch. The contract was posted on August 12, 2013, with a rapid turnaround time, as the due date is set for August 15, 2013 - just three days after the initial posting. While specific details about the exact quantity, type, or subject matter of the textbooks are not provided, the procurement suggests an urgent need for educational materials. The abbreviated timeline implies this may be a time-sensitive or emergency procurement to ensure educational resources are available for an upcoming academic term.

Regarding potential vendor qualifications, the limited information does not specify explicit set-aside designations or restrictions on bidding organizations. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are mentioned in the available data. The contract appears to be a standard procurement for the District of Columbia's educational or library system, potentially open to standard educational supply vendors or textbook distributors. Without additional context, it is not possible to determine specific disadvantaged enterprise requirements or precise award values. The brevity of the posting and the extremely short window between publication and submission dates suggest this might be a relatively small-scale procurement, potentially with a limited budget focused on supplying specific library or educational textbook needs for the District of Columbia.
