FY 13 Department of Forensics Sciences various Laboratory Gases

The District of Columbia Department of Forensics Sciences is seeking procurement for various laboratory gases as part of their Fiscal Year 2013 procurement cycle. This contract opportunity, identified by the unique ID 66c85db6829eb5d869074d04, was posted on February 19, 2013, with a remarkably short response window closing on February 21, 2013. The procurement appears to be focused on supplying essential laboratory gases required for forensic scientific operations, indicating a specialized and technical acquisition. While specific details about the exact types of gases or precise quantities are not provided, the procurement suggests a critical need for gases essential to forensic research, testing, and analysis. The extremely compressed timeline between posting and submission suggests this may be an urgent or time-sensitive procurement for the department's ongoing scientific operations.

Given the limited information available, it is not possible to definitively state specific set-aside designations or vendor restrictions. The contract appears to be a standard procurement for a government scientific agency without explicit indications of minority or disadvantaged business enterprise preferences. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the provided documentation. Similarly, no specific budget range or award value is mentioned in the contract opportunity description. The brevity of the available information underscores the need for potential vendors to seek additional details directly from the District of Columbia Department of Forensics Sciences. Interested suppliers would be well-advised to contact the procurement office immediately to obtain comprehensive specifications, potential integration requirements, and full scope of the laboratory gas procurement.
