About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of fuses, specifically ceramic fuses in boxes of five units (Item No. 2097699). This is a straightforward goods procurement posted on January 27, 2026, with a bid due date of February 13, 2026. The procurement requires vendors to submit pricing through BONFIRE's online bidding system, where detailed specifications and vendor response fields are accessible via the in-browser BidTable. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must comply with DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions. Delivery time and rate are critical to this order, with DART retaining the right to reject deliveries and terminate vendors for default if delivery specifications are not met. Vendors are required to certify compliance with equal opportunity employment requirements, non-involvement with designated foreign terrorist organizations, and must warrant that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. No specific evaluation criteria beyond standard compliance requirements are outlined in the available documentation.

The procurement documents provided do not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or limitations on the types of organizations eligible to respond to this bid. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials, nor are there references to existing infrastructure or technology integration requirements for this commodity purchase. The specific award value or budget range for this fuse procurement is not disclosed in the posted opportunity details. As a routine purchase order for standard electrical components, this procurement appears open to any qualified vendor capable of meeting DART's delivery requirements and terms and conditions. Interested vendors should register with BONFIRE to access the complete bidding details and submit their proposals by the February 13, 2026 deadline.
