About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a specific electrical component, identified as a FUSE 10A 250V INDICATING, with reference number 2094192. This procurement opportunity is located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires potential vendors to complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details. The contract solicitation was posted on July 26, 2025, with a response deadline of July 31, 2025. DART mandates that all bids include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall price, and emphasizes that delivery timing and rates are critical elements of the order. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with specific documentation requirements, including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement process requires strict adherence to DART's purchase order terms and conditions, with payment terms set at Net 30 days from invoice or order receipt.
The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. While no specific disadvantaged enterprise requirements are outlined, the terms include standard compliance clauses such as equal opportunity provisions. The document includes important certifications, notably that vendors cannot be associated with Foreign Terrorist Organizations and must not boycott Israel. The procurement is governed by Texas state law, with any potential legal proceedings to be conducted in Dallas County. Though a specific contract value is not disclosed, the solicitation suggests this is a targeted procurement for a specific electrical component with potential for ongoing or future transit-related equipment needs. Vendors must demonstrate capability to meet DART's stringent delivery, quality, and documentation requirements, with the potential for default termination if performance standards are not met.
