About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART), a government agency in Dallas County, Texas, is seeking bids for the procurement of Freon R22 in 30-pound bottles under Purchase Order 2099233. The specific deliverable is a supply of refrigerant product, with the primary objective being to obtain the necessary quantities to support DART's operational needs. Bidders must comply with all Purchase Order Terms and Conditions as outlined in the supporting documentation and must submit their responses through the BONFIRE registration system, which requires vendors to initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to access the detailed BidTable with project specifications and vendor response fields. Delivery terms are critical to this procurement, as time and rate of deliveries are essential contract elements, and sellers' failure to meet specified delivery schedules will constitute grounds for rejection and default termination. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The bid submission deadline is May 19, 2026, with the opportunity posted on May 12, 2026, providing vendors with a seven-day response window.

The procurement opportunity does not specify any particular set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other restricted classifications based on the available information. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the posted materials. Payment terms for the awarded vendor will be Net 30, with invoices to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and processed 30 days from receipt of the invoice or purchase order, whichever is later, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The specific budget range or award value for this procurement is not disclosed in the available documentation; however, interested vendors should refer to the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section for comprehensive contractual requirements and any additional specifications that may impact pricing and performance expectations.
