About this opportunity

Stockton Unified School District is requesting bids on food service paper supplies and disposable food service items under IFB 26-27-04, with bids due August 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. and questions due August 14, 2026.

The scope includes bags (fry, freezer storage, hot dog, hoagie, zip lock, poly grab-n-go), bowls, boxes, clamshells, containers, covers, cups, gloves, film products, food boats, cutlery, hairnets, lids, napkins, parchment paper, sandwich bags, spoons, sporks, and trays to support approximately 20,000 meals per day across multiple school sites. Some items are designated for high school use only. Estimated usage quantities vary significantly by item; vendors must provide pricing per pack with total pricing calculated by multiplying price per pack by estimated quantity. Specific items specify dimensions, materials, or colors (such as blue gloves in various sizes or clear poly bags).

The initial contract term is one year with options to renew for up to four additional one-year terms, not to exceed five years total. All pricing must be submitted on an F.O.B. Destination, Freight Prepaid basis with no additional charges for delivery, freight, fuel surcharge, packing, handling, or drayage permitted beyond bid prices. Unit prices shall exclude California sales tax. Deliveries are required Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to the Central Receiving Warehouse at 2909 Sanguinetti Lane, Stockton, California. After the initial one-year term, prices may increase according to the Consumer Price Index-All Urban Consumers (Food Away From Home) index with District approval and substantiation, or may decrease in accordance with market conditions.

Vendors must maintain Workers' Compensation and liability insurance with limits of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, comply with fingerprinting and criminal background check requirements per Education Code Section 45125.1, and provide comprehensive food safety documentation including HACCP programs, processed food registration, traceability reports, and GAP/GHP verification. An addendum will be issued August 19, 2026. Board approval is anticipated at the next available board meeting following bid opening. All bids must be submitted electronically through the District's e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/stocktonusd.
