About this opportunity
Parkway School District in Missouri is issuing a blanket purchase order agreement for Food Pantry Items, with proposals due by June 1, 2026, for a contract period running from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The District seeks qualified distributors to supply comprehensive pantry inventory including shelf-stable foods, refrigerated and frozen foods, fresh produce, beverages, household supplies, personal hygiene products, and other related items as needed throughout the contract term. Vendors may submit bids for any portion of the requested items, and the District reserves the right to make multiple awards by item, category, group, or in total based on its best interests. Key qualifications for vendors include the ability to reliably deliver diverse food and non-food items and compliance with all applicable procurement regulations. The District does not guarantee any minimum purchase quantities under this agreement, and vendors have the opportunity to submit multi-year proposals beyond the initial twelve-month term.
The procurement contains several statutory compliance requirements that apply to selected vendors. Any business entity awarded a contract exceeding $5,000 must enroll in and actively participate in the federal E-Verify work authorization program for all employees performing contracted services, with failure to comply constituting material breach. For contracts exceeding $100,000 or businesses with ten or more employees, vendors must provide an affidavit of compliance with Missouri's Anti-Discrimination Against Israel Act, certifying non-engagement in boycotts of Israeli goods, services, or related entities. All bidders must submit an Affidavit of Non-Collusion as a prerequisite for bid consideration, demonstrating compliance with competitive bidding integrity standards. No specific set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, incumbent vendor protections, or detailed budget ranges are indicated in the available documentation; the District's procurement flexibility allows it to structure awards according to operational needs and cost-effectiveness.
