About this opportunity

Calvert County, Maryland, through Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum (JPPM), is seeking sealed bids for project FM25-23, which involves replacing an inoperative exhaust fan damper in the MAC Lab. The procurement is a firm fixed-price contract requiring contractors to furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and services for the exhaust fan damper replacement. Bidders must submit a comprehensive package including a standard bid form, Bid/Proposal Affidavit, Conflict of Interest Affidavit, reference sheets, professional licenses/certifications, company insurance certificates, and acknowledgment of any amendments. The solicitation was posted on February 6, 2025, with bids due by February 20, 2025. JPPM will consider bids non-responsive if they lack required documentation, are received after the deadline, or do not include a completed Invitation for Bid (IFB). Contractors may submit bids via mail, fax, or email, with submissions to be evaluated based on completeness, qualifications, and compliance with procurement requirements.

While no specific set-aside designations or preferences for disadvantaged enterprises are explicitly mentioned in the documents, contractors must demonstrate professional capability through submitted documentation. The contract appears focused on mechanical/HVAC services at the Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum facility, located in Saint Leonard, Maryland. No incumbent vendor information or specific budget range is provided in the available documentation. The procurement seems oriented toward local or regional contractors with expertise in facility maintenance and mechanical system repairs. The project scope suggests a targeted, relatively small-scale infrastructure improvement requiring specialized technical skills in exhaust fan damper replacement. Potential bidders should carefully review the contract template and map provided to understand the precise location and requirements of the work to be performed.
