About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a FITTING-MALE STUD, solicitation number 2096891, which is currently open for bidding in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement requires vendors to submit bids through the Bonfire registration system, with a due date of December 17, 2025. Potential suppliers must adhere to specific requirements, including FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall price. DART emphasizes strict delivery timelines and performance standards, noting that failure to meet specified delivery rates could result in order rejection and default termination. Vendors must submit detailed invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including comprehensive documentation such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement process mandates that all bids comply with the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which provides comprehensive guidelines for product submission and acceptance.

While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly stated in the available documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's rigorous specifications. The payment terms are standardized at net 30 days from invoice or order receipt, with potential for written modifications to payment arrangements. Vendors must warrant that supplied items are of merchantable quality and suitable for intended purposes, complying with all product descriptions and specifications. The procurement includes provisions for inspection, acceptance procedures, and potential contract modifications, with the Contracting Officer retaining significant discretionary authority. Although the exact award value is not specified, the detailed terms suggest DART seeks a reliable supplier capable of meeting precise technical and logistical requirements for the specified fitting-male stud items. Potential bidders should carefully review the complete Terms and Conditions PDF to understand the full scope of expectations and compliance requirements.
