About this opportunity

The Town of Palm Beach, Florida is seeking qualified contractors to submit competitive bids for fire sprinkler inspection, testing, certification, and repair services across various municipal buildings. This Request for Bid (RFB No. 2025-031) requires vendors to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for fire sprinklers, backflow preventors, and fire pumps. Potential bidders must submit their proposals electronically through the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) eProcurement platform by October 17, 2025. A non-mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams, which is strongly recommended for prospective bidders to seek clarification and understand project requirements. The contract will commence immediately after award and initially terminate on September 30, 2026, with the potential for four additional one-year renewal periods, creating a maximum contract duration of five years. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who meets all specified requirements, with prices remaining valid for 90 days from the bid closing date.

Vendors must meet specific qualification criteria, including completing the Bidder's Qualification Form, Minimum Qualification Form, and providing documentation such as E-Verify compliance and a drug-free workplace certification. The solicitation includes several forms addressing scrutinized companies, foreign entity compliance, and human trafficking regulations. While no specific set-aside designations are explicitly mentioned, bidders must demonstrate technical competence, financial stability, and adherence to the Town's insurance requirements. Respondents will need to provide references and prove their capability to perform comprehensive fire protection system services. Although a specific budget range is not disclosed, the contract appears designed to establish a multi-year service agreement for ongoing fire protection system maintenance across Town facilities. Interested contractors must carefully review all attached documents, including the RFB terms and conditions, to ensure full compliance with the Town of Palm Beach's procurement specifications.
