About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for the procurement of air filters measuring 20" X 30" X 2" for TPSS HVAC systems. This purchase order opportunity, posted on April 13, 2026, with a due date of April 20, 2026, requires vendors to submit bids through the Bonfire registration platform where a BidTable will be accessible upon initiating the submission process. The primary deliverable is the supply of specified air filters that must meet DART's technical specifications and quality standards. Vendors must ensure all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and timely delivery is emphasized as essential to the contract, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Bidders must be capable of complying with DART's Net 30 payment terms, submitting invoices in triplicate with complete documentation including purchase order numbers, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement requires sellers to provide commercial warranties covering merchantable quality, suitability for intended use, and compliance with product specifications that are at least as favorable as those offered to other customers.
The available documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or participation limitations for respondents. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the provided materials. The procurement does not reference specific integration requirements with existing infrastructure or technology systems. Award values and budget ranges are not disclosed in the posted opportunity details. Prospective vendors should note that the contract will be governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and all sellers must certify non-association with foreign terrorist organizations and non-participation in boycotts of Israel. Equal opportunity employment provisions apply, and vendors are prohibited from assigning the contract without written Contracting Officer consent.
