About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of filters, door control components, and related equipment under Purchase Order 2097702. Posted on January 27, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 13, 2026, this procurement requires vendors to provide items that meet DART's operational specifications for transit system maintenance and functionality. While the specific detailed requirements and vendor response fields are accessible through DART's BONFIRE registration system in the in-browser BidTable, the procurement emphasizes strict adherence to merchant quality standards and full compliance with all product descriptions and specifications as outlined in the purchase order. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet critical delivery obligations, as timely performance is essential to the contract terms, and any failure to deliver at the specified time and rate may result in order rejection and default termination. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs fully included in the overall price, and invoicing must comply with DART's requirements for Net 30 payment terms with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing purchase order numbers, item numbers, descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The procurement requires vendors to comply with comprehensive contractual conditions established by DART, including equal opportunity employment compliance and certifications that neither the vendor nor its affiliates boycott Israel or maintain contracts with foreign terrorist organizations as identified on the Texas Comptroller's list. All vendors must acknowledge that acceptance of the purchase order constitutes an exclusive agreement with DART, with any modifications requiring written approval from the Contracting Officer, and that the contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. The standard terms and conditions allow DART to terminate orders for non-performance without liability beyond payment for accepted deliveries, as well as to terminate for convenience at DART's discretion. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the available documentation, and no incumbent vendor information or set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises are noted in the materials provided, though vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section for any additional requirements or restrictions.

DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. **Delivery Terms Notice -** Time and rate of deliveries are of the essence of this order. Seller's failure to deliver at the time and rate specified shall be the basis for rejection and default termination by the Authority (*Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority*). **Payment Terms Notice -** All vendors are advised that DART's payment terms are Net 30. Invoices shall be submitted (APInvoices@dart.org) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
