About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of Fresh Air Filters measuring 20" x 12" x 2" (item number 2098285). This is a purchase order opportunity posted on March 16, 2026, with a bid submission deadline of March 23, 2026. To access complete procurement details, specifications, and the bidding table, vendors must register and complete the "Prepare Your Submission" process through the Bonfire platform. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price; DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery schedules are critical to this procurement, and vendors must comply with specified delivery times and rates, as failure to do so may result in order rejection and default termination. The evaluation criteria emphasize timely and reliable delivery performance alongside pricing competitiveness. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The procurement documents provided do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information; vendors should consult the complete Bonfire registration materials for such details. All vendors must ensure that merchandise supplied meets commercial warranty standards for merchantable quality and suitability for intended use, with full compliance to all specifications outlined in the procurement documents. DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and any such taxes appearing on invoices will be deducted from payment amounts. The specific quantity requirements, award values, and budget ranges are not disclosed in the available summary materials and must be accessed through the Bonfire platform registration process. Vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, available in the supporting documentation section, prior to submission to ensure full compliance with all contractual requirements and administrative procedures.
