About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure fresh air filters measuring 20" X 12" X 2" through a competitive procurement process for a purchase order contract. The solicitation, identified by reference number 2097073, was posted on December 11, 2025, with proposals due by December 18, 2025. Vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details and submit responses. The procurement requires strict adherence to specific delivery and payment terms, including FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall price. Suppliers must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART has established Net 30 payment terms and reserves the right to reject and terminate the order if delivery schedules are not met precisely.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises are explicitly mentioned in the available documentation. The contract appears open to qualified vendors capable of meeting the technical specifications and delivery requirements. While no incumbent vendors are identified, potential suppliers must comply with several key contractual provisions, including certifying non-involvement with foreign terrorist organizations and agreeing not to boycott Israel during the contract term. The procurement is governed by Texas law, with venue in Dallas County, and the contract will be subject to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Although a specific award value is not provided, vendors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing for the air filter procurement. The contract includes robust warranty provisions requiring suppliers to provide commercially favorable warranties and ensure products meet all specified quality and performance standards.
