About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a procurement opportunity referenced as FILTER, DRIER, CORE (ref 2096474), with proposals due on December 4, 2025. While specific technical details about the exact goods are not fully elaborated in the provided documentation, the opportunity appears to be for procurement of specialized equipment or components, potentially related to transit infrastructure maintenance. Interested vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details and vendor response fields. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART explicitly states that delivery timelines are critical, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules potentially resulting in order rejection or default termination. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART's payment terms are strictly Net 30, meaning invoices will be processed 30 days from receipt or order date, whichever is later.

The procurement opportunity does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. However, the terms and conditions include several important compliance requirements, such as equal opportunity employment standards and certifications that the vendor is not associated with foreign terrorist organizations or participating in boycotts against Israel. Vendors must provide commercial warranties covering the quality and suitability of supplies and services. While no specific budget range is mentioned, the detailed Purchase Order Terms and Conditions suggest a formal, structured procurement process with rigorous vendor evaluation criteria. The documentation indicates that DART reserves the right to make equitable adjustments to contract pricing or delivery schedules if changes impact the seller's costs or performance timeline, with vendors required to assert any adjustment claims within 30 days of receiving a change order. Dispute resolution follows a three-tier process beginning with the Contracting Officer's written decision, potentially escalating to Authority review, and ultimately resolving in courts of competent jurisdiction.
