About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for HVAC air filters, specifically Class 2 filters measuring 16" x 20" x 2" (Bonfire registration number 2099311). This is a straightforward goods procurement posted on May 18, 2026, with a submission deadline of May 25, 2026. Vendors must submit bids through the Bonfire platform, accessing the BidTable by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process to view complete project details and vendor response fields. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and timely delivery is essential to the order, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be rendered under Net 30 terms, calculated 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, unless alternative terms are agreed upon in writing. Vendors must provide commercial warranties affirming that supplies are of merchantable quality and suitable for their intended purpose, with all quoted prices inclusive of applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties.
The solicitation documents do not identify any specific set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information within the available materials. Similarly, no specific budget allocation or award value range is disclosed in the posted opportunity. Bidders should note that DART is exempt from Texas sales and use taxes, and all terms and conditions are governed by the Purchase Order Terms and Conditions established by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority, with the Contracting Officer retaining the right to make written changes to orders and vendors entitled to submit claims for equitable adjustment within 30 days of receiving change orders. Prospective vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section before submitting proposals to ensure full compliance with DART's procurement requirements.
