About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring HVAC air filters, specifically Class 2 filters measuring 16" x 20" x 2" through this purchase order opportunity in Dallas County, Texas. This is a straightforward goods procurement with a submission deadline of March 23, 2026, following the posting date of March 16, 2026. Bidders must submit their responses through the Bonfire registration system, which requires vendors to initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to access the complete bid table and project details. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART emphasizes that timely and reliable delivery is essential, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for order rejection and default termination. The procurement requires vendors to comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which govern all aspects of performance, including commercial warranty requirements ensuring supplies are of merchantable quality and suitable for intended use. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with specific information including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment rendered on a Net 30 basis calculated from the later of invoice receipt or purchase order receipt.

The procurement documents provided do not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preference programs for minority-owned, women-owned, or small businesses. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials, and no specific budget range or award value has been disclosed in the posted opportunity. However, all potential vendors must certify compliance with several standard requirements including equal employment opportunity obligations, confirmation that neither the seller nor affiliates boycott Israel, and verification that the seller is not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts. The agreement is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and DART retains the right to make changes to orders through written notice from the Contracting Officer, with equitable adjustments available for cost or time impacts if claimed within 30 days of change order receipt.
