About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure HVAC air filters, specifically Class 2 filters measuring 16" X 20" X 2", through a competitive bidding process. This procurement opportunity is located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires mandatory registration on the Bonfire platform to access complete project details and bidding tables. The solicitation emphasizes critical delivery requirements, with time and rate of delivery being essential components of the contract. Potential vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, ensuring freight costs are included in the overall price. The procurement process mandates that all submissions comply with DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which include detailed specifications for invoice submission, payment protocols, and performance expectations. The bid is scheduled to be open from December 19, 2025, to December 26, 2025, with specific requirements for documentation, pricing, and delivery commitments.

While the provided documentation does not explicitly outline set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements, the contract opportunity appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's stringent performance standards. The procurement includes specific payment terms of Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and requiring comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, and pricing details. DART reserves the right to terminate the contract for default if vendors fail to meet specified performance criteria, and all supplies must meet commercial warranty standards of merchantable quality. The contract is governed by Texas law, with venue established in Dallas County, and vendors must certify compliance with anti-terrorism, anti-boycott of Israel, and equal opportunity provisions. Although a specific budget range is not disclosed, the solicitation suggests a standard procurement process for ongoing HVAC filter replacement needs for DART's transit infrastructure.
