About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a film item with dimensions of 21.31 inches in width by 35.31 inches in height (Glass 09-003-435), identified as purchase order 2098148. This procurement is for the supply of a specific glass film component required by DART operations. The opportunity was posted on February 27, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 6, 2026. Interested vendors must register on the BONFIRE platform to access complete project details and the bid table, where they will submit their pricing and responses. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the quoted price, and vendors must demonstrate their ability to meet strict delivery schedules, as timely delivery is considered essential to contract performance. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made within 30 days of invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, under DART's standard Net 30 payment terms.

The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular vendor categories, disadvantaged enterprises, or minority-owned businesses; therefore, the opportunity appears open to all qualified vendors capable of meeting DART's requirements and terms. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are referenced in the available documentation. The solicitation does not disclose the contract award value or budget range; pricing information will be evaluated competitively through the BID Table submission process. All vendors responding to this procurement must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, including equal opportunity employment provisions, certification that they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization ties, and confirmation that they do not boycott Israel. Disputes arising from this procurement shall be governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County.
