The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the procurement of LED highway lighting fixtures and related parts. This ITB seeks competitive bids for the supply of LED luminaires, shields, and tenons to be used within FDOT District One, which covers multiple counties in southwest Florida. The ITB specifies that the luminaires must be on the Department's Approved Product List and comply with FDOT Standard Specifications. Vendors must submit pricing on the provided Bid Sheet, with unit prices quoted for various photometric types and color temperatures. The bid submission deadline is May 25, 2023, at 8:00 A.M., with a public bid opening scheduled for 1:00 P.M. the same day, and the Department plans to post the intended award decision by 4:00 P.M. on May 25, 2023.

The Department will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s), with the option to make multiple awards on a geographical or statewide basis. Vendors must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace system, and the 1% MFMP transaction fee will apply to any resulting purchases. The ITB does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current incumbent vendor or contractors are not identified, and the ITB does not provide information on any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The ITB does not include details on the potential award value or budget range.
