The contractor must provide a 90-day labor warranty and one-year material warranty. Pricing must be submitted on a firm, fixed-price basis using Exhibit C, structured as regular hourly rates, after-hours hourly rates, and emergency hourly rates, with a parts markup not to exceed 20 percent. Price adjustments are permitted only through Consumer Price Index formulas or Federal Minimum Wage increases, subject to HHSC approval.
The initial contract term runs September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027, with no renewal options but potential one-year extension at HHSC's sole discretion. Service delivery is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, with emergency response within 30 minutes and non-emergency response within 24 hours. The contractor must respond to facility proposals within three business days.
Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of three years of relevant experience with three verifiable references for similar contracts within the last three years; assigned personnel must have at least two years of relevant experience.
