FA0 FY 2012 Flashlight and Bulbs RQ774977Untitled Sourcing Project

The Metropolitan Police Department has initiated a procurement opportunity for flashlights and bulbs through a competitive solicitation process. The contract, identified by the Sourcing Project number RQ774977, was posted on June 19, 2012, with a submission deadline of June 22, 2012. This procurement is specifically seeking a contractor capable of supplying flashlights and related bulb equipment for the District of Columbia's law enforcement agency. The brief solicitation suggests the procurement is for standard police equipment, likely intended to support operational readiness and equipment maintenance for the Metropolitan Police Department. The condensed timeline indicates an urgent or time-sensitive procurement need, with only three days allocated between posting and submission deadlines.

While specific details about set-aside designations or vendor restrictions are not explicitly provided in the contract notice, the procurement appears to be a standard government equipment acquisition. The contract does not specify precise award values or budget ranges for the flashlight and bulb procurement. No information is available regarding incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure requirements. The solicitation suggests this is a straightforward equipment replacement or supplementation contract for the Metropolitan Police Department's standard operational gear. Potential vendors would need to demonstrate capability to provide quality flashlights and bulbs that meet law enforcement standards and specifications, though those specific technical requirements are not detailed in the provided contract opportunity overview.
