The City seeks a minimum of three electro-hydraulic spreaders, three electro-hydraulic cutters, and six 12-volt chargers, all new and of current manufacture.
All electro-hydraulic tools must comply with NFPA 1960-2024 and include Wi-Fi connectivity, data collection, and transmission capabilities. Chargers must be 12-volt units. Bidders must submit complete descriptive literature, warranty statements, and fully completed specification response columns; incomplete proposals are subject to rejection.
The City reserves the right to award by individual item or by total bid and may reject any or all bids. Bid prices must remain firm for a specified period following award and must include all freight charges, itemized by product type. Delivery is F.O.B., freight prepaid, to 1000 Bolton Avenue, Alexandria, LA 71301, attention Dylan Derbonne.
Bids may be submitted via hand delivery, express delivery, USPS mail, or electronically through Central Bidding at www.centralauctionhouse.com. No bid bond or performance bond is required.
The City encourages participation in its AFEAT (Alexandria Fairness, Equality, Accessibility, and Teamwork Program) by documenting bona fide efforts to secure minority and disadvantaged business enterprise subcontractors; such efforts are considered in bid evaluation. Written questions and clarifications regarding bid specifications were due to Casey Barnes, Purchasing Department, by 4:00 p.m. CST on July 30, 2026.
