About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Agriculture Laboratory Division is requesting quotes on an environmental conditions monitoring system to replace aging equipment across laboratory facilities in Tifton and Atlanta, with responses due August 21, 2026.

The scope covers a monitoring system for fifty-eight critical units including refrigerators, freezers, ultra-low freezers, incubators, forced-air drying ovens, and laboratory rooms. The system must monitor temperature and humidity (with humidity monitoring required for laboratory rooms). A key technical requirement is that the signal from the supplier's system must be compatible with facilities constructed from different materials, including cement block buildings.

Suppliers must provide catalog pages, manufacturer information, and specification sheets for the manufacturer listed in the cost worksheet. Failure to furnish required documentation may result in rejection. The RFQ process will culminate in public announcement of preliminary results showing all participating suppliers and evaluation results, followed by final award announcement subject to any protest process.
