About this opportunity

The selected firm must be registered to practice in Texas and demonstrate experience in water supply projects, federally funded construction projects (specifically HUD-funded), regional projects, and water distribution design and construction.
Professional liability insurance of at least $2 million per claim and $2 million aggregate is required, along with commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation coverage. Evaluation criteria are firm qualifications and project references (20%), project manager and key personnel qualifications (45%), quality control and quality assurance processes (20%), and past work performance (15%). The City intends to negotiate with the top three qualified firms based on demonstrated competence and fair pricing.
Questions are due by September 11, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., with responses provided by September 14.
