About this opportunity

The City of South Fulton Fire Department is requesting quotes for EMS pharmaceutical supplies, drug box restocking, inspection support, expiration tracking, and related pharmacy services under RFQ 26-18, with quotes due June 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EST via BidNet Direct.

The City intends to establish one or more Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts on an as-needed basis. The scope encompasses pharmaceutical products across multiple certification levels—ALS, AEMT, BLS, and narcotic inventories—with specified medications including epinephrine, albuterol, adenosine, amiodarone, naloxone, fentanyl, ketamine, and related cardiac, respiratory, and trauma medications in defined dosages and delivery formats. The contractor must provide drug box restocking, inventory tracking, expiration date management, and inspection support to ensure EMS protocol and regulatory compliance. Bidders must complete the provided Pharmaceuticals Cost Form with unit pricing for each listed item and medication type.

The City guarantees a minimum purchase of $5,000 during the initial contract term; estimated quantities are provided for evaluation only and not guaranteed. The initial contract term is one year with City options to renew for up to three additional one-year terms at its sole discretion. Quoted prices remain firm for the first twelve months; thereafter, price adjustments may be requested no more than once per twelve-month period with sixty days' notice and supporting documentation.

Award will be made to the responsive and responsible vendor providing best overall value considering price, licensing status, regulatory compliance, delivery capability, prior performance, and financial capacity. The successful vendor must obtain all required pharmacy and DEA licenses, maintain DEA chain of custody for controlled substances, comply with the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act with E-Verify registration, and carry comprehensive insurance including Commercial General Liability ($1 million per occurrence / $2 million aggregate), Automobile Liability ($1 million combined), Professional Liability ($2 million if pharmacy services are provided), Product Liability, and Cyber Liability ($1 million if data management is involved).

Addendum No. 1, posted May 15, 2026, extended the question deadline from May 28 to June 5, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. ET and added the Pharmaceuticals Cost Form as a required submission document. A non-mandatory pre-quote conference was scheduled for May 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. via Microsoft Teams.
