About this opportunity

The Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) is soliciting statements of qualifications for Emergency Standby Transportation Services under an eRFQC with a due date of February 5, 2014. This solicitation establishes a qualified-supplier list for potential future statewide contracts; it does not result in immediate award.

GEMA seeks qualified contractors to provide motor coach, paratransit, and ambulance evacuation services in the event of a Governor-declared State of Emergency within Georgia. Contractors may bid on any or all three service categories. Multiple awards are anticipated, and the resulting list will be available to all State of Georgia governmental entities under the State Purchasing Act—state offices, agencies, departments, boards, bureaus, commissioners, institutions, and colleges and universities—as well as to other governmental entities including state authorities, local governments, municipalities, cities, townships, counties, and other political subdivisions of Georgia.

Contract execution is contingent on a Governor-declared State of Emergency. Qualified suppliers will be eligible to participate in future solicitations to establish the statewide contracts.
