About this opportunity

All contract requirements must be fulfilled by the contractor directly; subcontracting, joint venture, and co-production arrangements are prohibited.
The contractor must own or maintain under exclusive long-term lease the minimum equipment specified at bid submission: aerial lift/bucket trucks with minimum 75-foot working height, chippers rated for minimum 18-inch diameter material, commercial-grade stump grinders, trucks for transporting large tree sections and wood chip removal/debris disposal, and traffic control equipment including signs, cones, barricades, warning lights, and arrow boards. The contractor must also maintain chainsaws and specialized arborist equipment to support multiple simultaneous emergency crews. All required personnel, equipment, insurance certificates, licenses, and certifications must be in place within five business days of contract award.
The contractor shall maintain a staffed emergency telephone number available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, and respond to emergency call-outs within one hour of notification and arrive on-site to begin mobilization within three hours. Failure to maintain required personnel, equipment, or response capability throughout the contract term constitutes grounds for immediate termination. The contract is performance-based on immediate emergency response capability, making equipment ownership or exclusive long-term lease and staffing availability the critical qualifiers for responsiveness and responsibility.
