About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for an ELEMENT, CLEANER, EXHAUST, VALVE, FLOW, SILENCER, EXHAUST, MAGNET V with solicitation number 2096525. The contract opportunity was posted on December 11, 2025, with proposals due by December 18, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bidding information and must submit their responses through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires vendors to adhere to specific freight terms, with all bids mandated to reflect FOB Destination shipping terms and include freight costs in the overall pricing. Vendors must also understand that delivery timelines are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in rejection and default termination. DART has established strict payment terms of Net 30, requiring invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly outline set-aside designations or specific restrictions on vendor qualifications. However, vendors must comply with several key requirements, including equal opportunity employment standards, certification of non-inclusion on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list, and verification of non-participation in Israel boycotts. The procurement will be governed by Texas law, with legal venue situated in Dallas County. While specific award value or budget range is not provided in the available documentation, vendors should anticipate a comprehensive evaluation process that likely considers pricing, delivery capabilities, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to DART's extensive purchase order terms and conditions. The contract appears to be for specialized equipment or components related to exhaust systems, suggesting a technical procurement that may require specific manufacturing or supply chain capabilities.
