About this opportunity

The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting bids for Electronic Ball Banking Indicators, with bids due March 18, 2010. Bidders must submit separate unit prices on prescribed forms or through the electronic system, with sealed responses due at 9 State House Station, Room 119, Augusta, Maine prior to the closing deadline.

Bidders must submit descriptive literature of the equipment proposed and include all features and options listed in the full specifications along with shipping costs to the delivery point. Questions must be submitted through the Question and Answer link on the Solicitation Details View page; clarifications obtained through other means are not considered valid.

The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive formalities or technicalities. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder based on best value considerations, including quality, conformity with specifications, delivery date, and total cost. The State may increase or decrease quantities by up to 10 percent unless otherwise stated in the solicitation. All transportation charges and freight costs shall be prepaid by the contractor unless otherwise specified. The State is exempt from federal and Maine state sales and use taxes, so bids should exclude these taxes. Bidders should specify terms and cash discounts, with discounts computed from the date of delivery or receipt of invoice, whichever is later; discounts under 20 days will not be considered in contract award.
