About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas is soliciting competitive bids for the procurement of an Elbow 3/8" NPT X 3/8" Tube (Item 2097700) through a purchase order process. The procurement posting was published on January 27, 2026, with a bid submission deadline of February 13, 2026. Bidders must submit quotes reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. All bids and quotes must be submitted through BONFIRE registration, with vendors required to access the in-browser BidTable to submit their responses and review project details. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Timely delivery is essential to the contract, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination by the Authority. Vendors must provide commercial warranties confirming merchantable quality and compliance with specifications, and must comply with equal opportunity employment provisions, foreign terrorist organization certifications, and Israel boycott compliance requirements.

The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other restricted categories of respondents, indicating this appears to be open to all qualified vendors meeting DART's requirements. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement has not been disclosed in the posted opportunity materials. Vendors are required to comply with all terms and conditions outlined in DART's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document and agree that the contract shall be governed by Texas state law with venue in Dallas County. Interested bidders should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section and ensure their submissions are registered and submitted through the BONFIRE system by the February 13, 2026 deadline.
