About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for an EGR Cooler Assembly (reference 2097531) through a purchase order process in Dallas County, Texas. This procurement involves the supply of a single component part essential to DART's transit operations, with specifications and project details accessible through the BONFIRE registration system's BidTable interface. Bidders must submit responses by January 28, 2026, with the opportunity posted on January 25, 2026, allowing a three-day response window. All bids must be submitted through the "Prepare Your Submission" process on the procurement portal, where vendors can access complete project specifications and vendor response fields. The evaluation criteria emphasize strict adherence to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, with particular attention to delivery timelines, pricing competitiveness, and compliance with operational requirements. Vendors must meet qualification standards including ability to deliver on specified schedules, maintain commercial warranty standards ensuring merchantable quality and specification compliance, and certify compliance with foreign terrorist organization and Israel boycott requirements.

The procurement does not specify designated set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, though all vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements and DART's standard terms. No incumbent vendors or current contractor information is provided in the available documentation. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Payment terms are Net 30, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org. The specific award value or budget range for the EGR Cooler Assembly is not disclosed in the public posting; this information is available only within the restricted BONFIRE BidTable accessible to registered bidders upon initiating the submission process.
