About this opportunity
I appreciate your request, but I must inform you that the contract opportunity information provided is incomplete and insufficient to generate the comprehensive two-paragraph summary you have requested. The posting contains only minimal details: the contract name (EFC - Prescription Filling & Pharmacy Svcs), the posting date (February 23, 2026), the due date (February 26, 2026), the procurement type (Invitation to Bid), and the state jurisdiction (Idaho). The document lacks critical information necessary for a thorough summary, including specific agency contact details, detailed scope of work, deliverables and performance requirements, qualifications and certifications required, evaluation criteria, submission instructions, set-aside designations, incumbent vendor information, budget ranges, and award values. Without these essential components, I cannot accurately address the substantive elements you have outlined for either paragraph.
To provide you with an accurate and useful summary, I would need access to the complete solicitation documents, including the full invitation to bid, specifications, terms and conditions, evaluation methodology, and any amendments or addenda issued by the State of Idaho. I recommend accessing the Idaho Department of Administration's procurement portal or contacting the issuing agency directly to obtain the complete solicitation package before proceeding with any bid preparation or evaluation activities.
Opportunity text
The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections has requested an exemption from competition for the purchase of Prescription Filling and Pharmacy Services and Enhanced Clinical Svcs. If approved, an exemption from competition may allow the agency to procure the property with limited or no competitive process. Exemption from competition is at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The decision remains discretionary, and suppliers have no right to appeal the Administrator's decision. Suppliers are invited to provide information that may help the DOP Administrator make a decision regarding this requested exemption from competition. Please review the Agency's request, attached in the Buyer Attachment section of IPRO. You are invited to provide information that may help support or contradict the claim that competition would be impractical, unreasonable, or disadvantageous to the State under the circumstances. Submit your information by attaching it in the Supplier Attachments section of IPRO and submitting your response or emailing purchasing@adm.idaho.gov. To be considered by the Administrator, all information must be submitted prior to the closing date and time listed in IPRO.
