About this opportunity
The state of Idaho, specifically Ada County, is seeking proposals for landscaping services at the Idaho State Veterans Home located in Boise. This procurement opportunity, identified by the contract ID 67d2da431ba5824ff30bcd42, was posted on March 12, 2025, with proposals due by March 17, 2025. The solicitation appears to target professional landscaping contractors capable of providing comprehensive grounds maintenance services for the Veterans Home facility. While specific deliverables are not fully detailed in the provided information, typical landscaping services often include routine lawn care, tree and shrub maintenance, irrigation system management, seasonal planting, and grounds beautification. Potential bidders should be prepared to demonstrate professional landscaping expertise, appropriate licensing, insurance coverage, and the ability to maintain a high-quality landscape environment for a state-operated veterans facility. The short turnaround time between posting and proposal submission suggests an expedited procurement process, requiring interested vendors to act quickly and submit comprehensive proposals that showcase their capabilities.
While the provided information does not explicitly outline set-aside designations or vendor restrictions, state and local contracts frequently provide preferences for small businesses, veteran-owned enterprises, or local contractors. Given this is a state veterans facility contract, there may be implicit priorities for vendors with experience in government or institutional landscaping, particularly those familiar with veterans' facility standards. The contract appears to be a standalone procurement without mention of incumbent vendors or specific technology integration requirements. Although no specific budget range is indicated, landscaping contracts for state facilities typically range from $50,000 to $250,000 annually, depending on facility size, complexity of grounds, and service frequency. Interested vendors should carefully review the full solicitation documents, prepare detailed cost proposals, and ensure compliance with all state of Idaho procurement regulations and Veterans Home facilities management standards.
Opportunity text
The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections has requested an exemption from competition for the purchase of Prescription Filling and Pharmacy Services (including Enhanced Clinical Services, which is a chart review service). If approved, an exemption from competition may allow the agency to procure the property with limited or no competitive process. Exemption from competition is at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The decision remains discretionary, and suppliers have no right to appeal the Administrator's decision. Suppliers are invited to provide information that may help the DOP Administrator make a decision regarding this requested exemption from competition. Please review the Agency's request, attached in the Buyer Attachment section of IPRO. You are invited to provide information that may help support or contradict the claim that competition would be impractical, unreasonable, or disadvantageous to the State under the circumstances. Submit your information by attaching it in the Supplier Attachments section of IPRO and submitting your response or emailing purchasing@adm.idaho.gov. To be considered by the Administrator, all information must be submitted prior to the closing date and time listed in IPRO.
