About this opportunity

This procurement is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) for the EEP Boiler #1 Replacement & LTHW Valve Automation project in Orange County, Florida. The scope of work includes replacing the existing Boiler #1 at the EPCOT Energy Plant with four modular condensing boilers, adding variable frequency drives to three hot water pumps, and replacing manually operated isolation valves with electrically-controlled valves on twenty LTHW system valves within the boiler room. Specific deliverables, objectives, and required qualifications are detailed in the project documents referenced in the ITB. A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for February 7, 2024, and bids are due on February 23, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. EST through the CFTOD's new electronic bidding platform.

The ITB indicates that the CFTOD has bid preferences for local vendors, veteran small businesses, and opportunity zone businesses on most solicitations, as referenced in the CFTOD Procurement Policy. No further details are provided regarding pricing terms, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or award values, but the ITB suggests that the successful contractor will be responsible for all work described in the project documents unless specifically excluded or indicated as owner-furnished.
