About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Transportation Office of Environmental Services is issuing an RFQ for Ecological Mitigation Support Services, with Statements of Qualifications due May 25, 2022. The Prime Consultant must be prequalified by GDOT in Ecology (Area Class 1.06(e)), and the consulting team must include members prequalified in NEPA Documentation, History, Air Studies, Noise Studies, Ecology, Archaeology, Freshwater Aquatic Surveys, and Bat Surveys — these prequalifications are hard eligibility filters.
The scope encompasses management of Department-owned mitigation properties, development of new mitigation banks on Department-owned properties, long-range mitigation needs forecasting for Department projects, and routine mitigation purchases or debits. An Ecology Lead is the anticipated key team leader position.
A communication blackout is in effect from the advertisement date through award announcement; firms may not contact GDOT staff about the solicitation outside official submission channels designated in the RFQ, and violations may result in rejection.
This is a Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) phase only. The formal RFQ will be issued April 25, 2022. No questions or submittals are accepted during the PNA phase. Inquiries should be directed to Douglas Kirkland at the GDOT Office of Procurement, Transportation Services Procurement Section.
