About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement for an Eccentric Cam Assembly, identified by solicitation number 2096903. This procurement opportunity is specifically located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires potential vendors to complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bidding information. The procurement involves the acquisition of a specific mechanical component, with strict delivery and performance requirements. Vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs incorporated into the overall price. The solicitation requires detailed documentation, including a triplicate invoice submission to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive order details such as purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The bid response deadline is December 17, 2025, with a posted date of December 10, 2025. DART emphasizes that time and delivery rates are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery parameters could result in order rejection or default termination.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed, the procurement includes several important vendor compliance requirements. Vendors must demonstrate equal employment opportunity compliance, certify they do not boycott Israel, and verify they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts. The purchase order is subject to Texas law, with legal venue in Dallas County. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order completion. Vendors must provide commercial warranties confirming the mechanical assembly's merchantable quality, suitability for intended use, and compliance with all specifications. The Contracting Officer retains significant discretion, including the ability to terminate the order for default or convenience. While no specific budget range is provided, the procurement suggests a specialized mechanical component procurement with precise technical and administrative requirements.
