About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Law is soliciting proposals to replace its email archiving solution with a system providing email archiving and electronic discovery (eDiscovery) functionality, with proposals due April 8, 2015. The procurement was amended on March 19, 2015 to extend competition to more suppliers.
The solution must archive email by applying retention rules to messages sent and received by Department staff, enable end users and open records request (ORA)/eDiscovery staff to search retained email, and facilitate staff review and production of email records in response to litigation and open records requests. The system must support both system-defined and user-defined retention rules. The incumbent is Mimosa Systems' NearPoint product.
