Small and microbusiness bidders certified by the Department of General Services may receive a preference up to five percent of the lowest responsive bid. Non-small business bidders claiming twenty-five percent small business subcontractor participation may also receive a preference up to five percent. The contractor must calibrate pipettes to at least the 0.2 microliter level per ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation standards, maintain NIST-traceable measurement equipment, provide computerized documentation with calibration data and pass/fail status, and complete repairs within 72 hours of receipt. Pipettes that fail performance standards within 60 days of receipt shall be reworked at no cost to DOJ, with seal replacements included at no charge for Gilson pipettes. The contractor must submit itemized invoices and comply with California Department of Human Resources travel and per-diem regulations.
The contract term runs from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2029. General liability insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate is required.
