About this opportunity

The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting quotations for dog tags for 2014 under RFQ, with quotations due July 8, 2013, submitted electronically through the State of Maine's Vendor Self Service (VSS) platform by 2:00 p.m. local time.

All quotations must include unit prices and delivery timeframes for each line item, uploaded through the VSS system. Bidders may submit additional or alternate quotations and supporting attachments (such as MSDS sheets or specification documents) prior to closure. Questions must be posted through the VSS Question and Answer link, with answers provided in writing and viewable by all bidders. The State reserves the right to reject any or all quotations, to partially accept quotations by individual item or group of items, and to increase or decrease quantities by up to 10% at agreed-upon pricing.

Award may be made based strictly on lowest priced conforming bid or on a combination of factors including quality, conformity with specifications, delivery time and destination, and total cost, with price receiving a minimum of 25% weight in evaluation. Dog tags must conform to the State's material composition, dimensional, and design specifications as detailed in the sample specification document. Delivery terms are FOB Destination with all transportation charges prepaid by the successful bidder. Payment terms are net 30 days from receipt of a correct invoice. The State is exempt from federal and state taxes on articles not for resale, so all quoted prices must exclude federal taxes. Bid prices are not firm beyond the RFQ closing date unless otherwise specified in the award.
