DMV Printer Cartridges and Toner

The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a procurement for printer cartridges across multiple printer models, specifically targeting Dell and Lexmark printer systems. The solicitation covers cartridges for Dell 5200, Dell 1720, Dell 1710, Dell 5210 printers, as well as Lexmark models including LEX-64015HA, LEX-650H11A, LEX-X654/658, and Canon FX-7. This procurement appears to be a targeted supply contract designed to maintain operational printing capabilities for the DMV. The contract opportunity was posted on May 16, 2012, with an extremely short response window, closing on May 18, 2012 - just two days after initial posting. The brevity of the posting period suggests this may be an urgent or time-sensitive procurement to address immediate printer supply needs. Potential vendors would need to demonstrate immediate availability of the specified printer cartridges and the capability to quickly fulfill the DMV's requirements.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, the contract appears to be open to standard commercial vendors capable of supplying printer cartridges for the listed equipment models. The procurement does not indicate specific restrictions for disadvantaged businesses or minority-owned enterprises. No incumbent vendors or existing contract information is provided in the documentation. The specific budget range or total contract value is not specified in the opportunity description. Interested vendors would need to carefully review the specific printer cartridge specifications and ensure they can meet the exact model requirements for the District of Columbia DMV's printing systems within the very compressed response timeline.
